Formed in 2001... Honest lyrics and memorable yet modest melodies that sound familiar even on your first listen… February may be the shortest, coldest, possibly least appealing month of the year, but February Rent brings indie warmth to the stage. I’m inspired by the spirit of U2, the songwriting of the Beatles, the eclectic but worldly instrumentation of Beirut, and the lyrical wit of Steven Morrissey. However the memory of my father is my first and most lasting musical inspiration. I thought he was the greatest singer and musician and I was lucky enough to be the sole audience for many special “live” performances in his lifetime.
